"D'yer Wanna Be A Spaceman?" is a song by the band Oasis. It was written and sung by the band's lead guitarist, Noel Gallagher, and features on the B-Side of the single Shakermaker, taken from the band's debut album Definitely Maybe.
The lyrics describe both how childhood dreams change as people grow older, and also the wistful feelings experienced when reminiscing upon those dreams.
The song was used poignantly over the credits of the 1995 film Boston Kickout.
On the Oasis DVD Live By The Sea, Gallagher plays the song solo on an acoustic guitar but makes a mistake halfway through and is unable to complete it.
