Template talk:Dab current
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm not sure whether people will like this template, and I'm not attached to it so won't defend it if others find lots of faults with it, but I'm creating it for the article Kings Cross railway station in which somebody has added a disambiguation style link to a current event. I think this template handles such a link much better an a disambiguation link does. Joe D (t) 14:20, 10 July 2005 (UTC)
- The template is not the problem. The problem is the formatting: it should be less intrusive and much smaller than {{current}} but not so big that it screws up the formatting of the article's images and infoboxes. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 23:44, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Ideally it should be a combination of {{wikinews}} and the other disambig templates. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 23:59, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
I don't understand what this is for. The appearance is similar to template:Wikinews, but it is obviously meant to be used for something else, so it could be confusing for a reader who is used to seeing the other message. In what way is this a disambiguation link? Why does it include class="current"? Please improve the documentation. —Michael Z. 2006-11-07 00:17 Z
