Dahiya were identified both with Ta-Hia and Dahae, which contradiction. I deleted wrong statement "Ptolemy has mentined them as Dahae". Ptolemy did not mention Dahae. It is also bad style to write some statements as truths, while they are only opinions of historians. Ta-Hia is agreed to mean Bactria. Dahae lived to the north of Bactria. [edit] Merger

The proposal to merge Dahia with Dahiya has been on since February and has elicited no comments. As the pages describe a Rajput and a Jat clan respectively, I take it that they are different and cannot be merged, hence I am removing the proposal notices. I am also moving the pages to more descriptive names, and cross-referencing the two pages. Regards, ImpuMozhi 02:09, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
