Daimler Davos
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Daimler Davos, a limited edition model which was created in 1988 at a price of nearly £53,000, was made to become the exotica of 1988, but, for an extra £6,000 you were not getting any more than what the normal Daimler had, except of course the "Davos" badge at the back. The Daimler that was sold at the time (1988-1990, the dashboard changed in the later year,) was very nearly the equivalent of a Rolls-Royce what with all the luxury, including;
- Wood picnic tables in the back
- A 3.6 6-cylinder engine
- Piped leather
- Digital readings (except the speedometer and the rev counter) in the dashboard.
- Blinds in the back
- reading lights in the back
The Daimler Davos, with only around 7 on UK roads, is a rare sight, even compared to the normal Daimler that was sold in the late 1980s.
