Dalia Harir (1989-December, 14, 2004) was a 15 year old Algerian-American teenager who was shot and killed by 22 year old Irving Winslow. She was a student at Bryant Alternative School and had been missing from her home in Fairfax, Virginia for more than a week when her body was found Dec. 14 in a wooded area about 25 feet from Route 50, near the exit for Kenilworth Avenue in Cheverly, Maryland. Police said she had probably been dead for at least a day when road crews working near the exit ramp found her body. She was found wearing a black spandex top, jeans, black sneakers, hoop earrings and a Mickey Mouse watch, police said at the time.[1] She was Prince George's County's 142nd homicide victim in 2004, a slaying that occurred near the end of an especially bloody and violent year.[2] Winslow was arrested at his home in the 3900 block of C Street SE in the District on Thursday, March 31, 2005.[3]
