Damien McCaul

Damien McCaul began presenting The Den in 1998. At that stage it became Den 2. It also branched off into an early morning slot for pre-school children presented by Geri Maye and Soky, who was one of the main characters in the afternoon show.
McCaul was also presenting the 2FM radio breakfast show at that time, and so was working daily on television and radio with Ireland's state broadcaster, RTE.
Prior to his career in media, McCaul studied media and film production in DIT, and worked in various capacities, including an on-screen role in Neil Jordan's Michael Collins film. He still works in RTE radio.
