Damnet Productions, founded in 2004 by David Mitrov, has been one of varied success. Initially formed at some period during 2004, Damnet Productions has led a tumultuous life, and at one point embroiled in scandal. initially hosted on Freeservers during the course of 2001-2002, Damnet's homepage moved onto a home-brew server, operating the Linux operating system hosted on a then bleeding-edge 512 kbit/s broadband service. The site at this point contained various projects and was a test-bed that has now led to the development of both PHP and VB.net based programs, some of which have gained notoriety (such as the aaNet usage meter).
