Dan Stevens

Daniel Jonathan Stevens (born 10 October 1982 in Croydon, England) is a British actor. He read English Literature at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He has worked in theatre with directors Peter Hall, and Samuel West in the UK, and the United States. He was nominated for an Ian Charleson Award for his portrayal of Orlando in As You Like It for the Peter Hall Company in 2005.
In 2006, he starred as Nick Guest in the BBC Two adaptation of Alan Hollinghurst's Booker Prize-winning novel The Line of Beauty. Stevens played Simon Bliss in Hay Fever by Noël Coward at the Haymarket Theatre, alongside Peter Bowles and Dame Judi Dench, directed by Sir Peter Hall. He appeared as Lord Holmwood alongside Marc Warren, Sophia Myles and David Suchet in an adaptation of Dracula for the BBC.
