Dandenong North is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Greater Dandenong.

Dandenong North is situated approximately 30 kilometres from the city, being very close to the Monash Freeway,the road formerly known as the South Eastern Arterial & the Mulgrave freeway. There are several schools in the locality. The area was once known as Lyndale. North Dandenong is also subject to the latest EastLink Freeway project (which connects the South-East with the Eastern Arterials).
The whole of Greater Dandenong has a population of approximately 130,000*. Dandenong North has approximately 17% of this amount.
