Dane County Regional Airport (IATA: MSN, ICAO: KMSN), also known as Truax Field, is a commercial airport located five miles (8 km) northeast of the center of Madison, in Dane County, Wisconsin, USA. It has three runways and in 2005 it served over 1.6 million passengers. The airport recently completed renovations which included more gates, ticket counter space, and a food court. As has been the case in the past decade the airport will once again be adding more parking in the near future.
The airport is home to both the Army National Guard and the Wisconsin Air National Guard.
The fixed base operator (FBO) is Wisconsin Aviation[1], which purchased the assets of the former FBO, Four Lakes Aviation, in 1994.
Truax Field was named in honor of Wisconsin-native Lieutenant Thomas L. Truax, killed in a P-40 training accident in November 1941.
