Danielle "Dani" Phantom is a fictional character and superhero/sidekick from Danny Phantom. A female younger clone version of Danny Phantom, she was created by his arch enemy Vlad Plasmius for his project, a clone version of Danny Phantom. She is voiced by AnnaSophia Robb.

She came to Danny's home claiming to be his third cousin once removed. Suspicious, he agreed to let her stay as a guest, but only if she spoke with his parents, which caused her to run off. Danny follows her, running into one of the clones who immediately proceeds to attack him. Danielle helped him destroy the clone by revealing her half ghost powers, much to a shocked Danny. He questions her after the clone's defeat, but she feigned unconsciousness to avoid questioning. He left her in the guest bedroom in the Fentonworks Op-Center, only for her to disappear by the next morning.
She reappears to greet Danny at lunch during school where Danny, acting as a responsible relative to her, tries in vain to question who she is while quickly bonding with her. Another clone attacks however, and the two race after it only for Vlad to ambush Danny. The resulting battle led to Danielle showing her real true colors, turning on Danny to help her "daddy" capture Danny. Caught by surprise, Danny is defeated and loses the battle.
Vlad takes him to his lab in the Rocky Mountains. There, Danielle eavesdrops on her father's monologue to Danny about creating the perfect clone, and using the expendable imperfect clones to his advantage (their current mission having been sent to capture Danny). After Danny escapes, Danielle confronts Vlad, asking if she's just another mistake. He denies this, telling her she is his greatest creation, and the reason he needs Danny's DNA is to stabilize her. She believes him hook, line, and sinker, and follows his orders to attack and capture Danny.
Danny refuses to fight her, saying she isn't mindless and he doesn't want her to degenerate into goo/slime like all the other clones he fought. Danielle says that if that's what he wants, he should let Vlad have his DNA so Vlad can save her, however Danny counters by telling her Vlad is lying, that he doesn't plan to save her at all and is merely nothing but a tool for him; she however refuses to believe him. Calling Danny a liar, Danielle attacks and renders him unconscious.
He wakes up once again in a containment chamber, with Vlad and Danielle watching outside. Vlad asks Danielle to overshadow Danny, but she's worried it might make her melt. Losing his patience, Vlad yells that she only exists to serve him. Stricken for a moment, then realizing Danny was right, she switches sides. She frees Danny and the pair of them attack Vlad at a time, destroying the primary clone in the process.
Seeing Vlad coming at them in a fury, Danielle prepares to use the last of her power, but Danny stops her and instead unleashes his Ghostly Wail, destroying the lab and knocking Vlad away. Vlad, not yet defeated and filled with much anger walks his way to kill Danielle who tries to defend the exhausted Danny, but has not much power left to do so.
They are saved in time when Sam and Tucker arrive in the Specter Speeder, slamming into Vlad and knocking him out. Tucker loses no time in putting the Specter Deflector on Vlad, rendering his ghost powers useless. Danielle takes advantage of this to by giving Vlad a good punch to the head. She then slips away while Danny is thanking his friends, only to pop up later at his home to overshadow Danny's mother and Mr. Lancer to get Danny, Sam, and Tucker out of trouble for wrecking the Specter Speeder and skipping school. Calling herself "Dani", She promises they'll meet again, then she leaves her "cousin" behind, and flies off into the sunset.
[edit] Appearance
Dani shares some similarities with Danny, notably her in human form, she has the same skin, eyes and hair as Danny Fenton, the only exception being the ponytail in her hair. She wears a red beanie, shorts, a blue sweater/hoodie has pink lips and has the same shoes as Danny, only blue with white dots on the side.
In ghost form, her skin, eyes and hair and a ponytail are the same colors as Danny Phantom. Her collar is sometimes gone and smaller than Danny's. The right of her side of her shirt is inverted, her right arm is white and her glove is black and her left arm is black and her glove is white. She has no belt, instead her waist, as well as her belly button, are shown. She has streaks of white on the sides of her pants, and wears white shoes. She has the same emblem as Danny, only it is sometimes darker and blacker.
[edit] Personality/Weakness
As Danny's clone, Dani shares many of his likes and personality traits. Unlike the other failed experiments, she is not mindless and doesn't mind voicing exactly how she feels. A very willful, and somewhat tomboyish girl, Dani doesn't like being told what to do and enjoys using her ghost powers for a laugh or surprise. She's a lot like Danny, only more cheerful and childish. She seems to have no concern with responsibility, and can be quite stubborn at times. She can also be quite naïve, which is, in part, due to her limited existence so far.
Physically, Dani appears to be 12 years old. However, her actual age is, at most, only a few months, since it hasn't even been a full year since Danny first got his powers. Because of her limited knowledge, Dani was easily talked into obeying Vlad's every command, and it wasn't until she met Danny that she realized that she was just "a mess that Vlad's not going to clean up".
Danielle's greatest weakness is that she can't go all-out with her powers like Danny can. Her unstable clone DNA is unable to handle such a power strain, and she'll start to destabilizing into a puddle of ectoplasm when she begins to wear herself out. Although her body can reform when she's not actively using her powers, this handicap is enough to prevent her from fighting to her fullest extent.

She saw Danny more as a subject she was sent to capture him for Vlad. Being the only clone with a mind of her own, Danny refused to hurt her. Eventually she sided with her "cousin" after learning her "father" was only using her. Though she is away for the time, she vows to return, now on good terms with her "cousin". The two seem to have grown a strong bond of trust and concern for each other since. This would be the most important relationship for Danielle, since Danny is the only friend/family she has.

She looked up to him as her father and did whatever she was told to do until meeting Danny and realizing how evil Vlad really was. She has since opposed him and is no longer his real "daughter", viewing her as one of the failed clones he has made her in order to get the perfect cloned son. Yet ironically, if he raised Dani like he would have raised Danny or the primary clone, he would have succeeded in his plan to have a family.
[edit] Ghost Powers
Dani Phantom has many of the same powers as Danny, but, while skilled, isn't quite as experienced as him due to her limited existence so far.
- Ghost Sense – Dani has the same ghost sense as her cousin. She does not trigger his ghost sense, since she is half-ghost and a near-perfect clone.
- Transformation – Like Danny, she goes ghost and uses white rings in her transformation.
- Intangibility & Invisibility – Standard ghost powers.
- Flying/Floating/Hovering – Standard ghost powers.
- Paranormal Strength, Speed, Agility and Durability – She has the same physical abilities like Danny. Apparently, they don't cause her to melt, so she can use these powers without problems. Like Danny, she is somewhat a weakling without her powers.
- Ectoplasmic Energy Blast - "Ghost Ray" – She fires the same kind of energy blast as her cousin, and even comes in the same color. Apparently, this power burns through her quickly, and she tends to start melting as a result.
- Ectoplasmic Energy Shield - "Ghost Shield" – She is not seen using this power, but since she is Danny's clone, she could use it as well.
- Overshadowing/Possession – She took control of her "aunt", Maddie, and Mr. Lancer to save Danny, Sam and Tucker from getting grounded (thankfully, she didn't need to overshadow Jack, since he's gullible enough to believe anyone). When she overshadows someone, she maintains their voices, but not their eyes. Apparently, overshadowing puts a hefty strain on Dani's unstable DNA, for she shows fear for her life when Vlad tries to get her to overshadow Danny.
- Wall Walking – She, along with other ghosts, can use this power. This is apparently an addition to her hovering powers.
Although she and Danny can use the same powers, she does not have her own version of the Ghostly Wail. One theory is that the technology Vlad used in Valerie's suit was able to get Danny's DNA and record his powers, but she never downloaded his Ghostly Wail since he never used it on her. Of course, even if Dani knew this power, the energy strain of the attack would most likely cause her to melt after using it once. This is reinforced by the fact that Danny strains himself when he uses it, and ends up powering down as a result of exhaustion. Another thing to point out is that Danny would have never learned the Ghostly Wail if it had not been for an extremely difficult fight. Dani may learn the Ghostly Wail if she is placed in a similar situation.

- Although she is occasionally referred to as Danielle Fenton (due to being Danny's clone) technically, she has no actual last name. Being an artificial clone, she was not actually born into the Fenton family.
- Anna Sophia Robb, conveniently, was also age 12 when "Kindred Spirits" aired.
- Dani is the fourth clone of Danny Phantom. However, Vlad's line of "I would watch a hundred more clones dissolve into ectoplasm to get the perfect half ghost son" seems to imply that there may have been many more failed cloning experiments before Dani and the other three clones in the episode.
- Dani's outfit resembles that of Chip Skylark from The Fairly Oddparents, with the sweater and beanie.
