Daniel P Carter has been the bassist of the successful British rock band A since 1998, when he replaced bassist Stevie Swindon who quit the band after they released their debut album How Ace Are Buildings. He is also the bass-playing member of a lesser known group, The Lucky Nine alongside members of Hundred Reasons. He now presents the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show on Tuesday, from midnight to 2am.
He wrote several tracks for McFly on their newest album, Motion In The Ocean, with the band and fellow A member Jason Perry. He also plays in former Busted member Matt Willis' band.
