Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport (IATA: TAC, ICAO: RPVA), or DZR Airport for short, is an airport serving the general area of Tacloban City, located in the province of Leyte in the Philippines. The airport is classified as a trunkline airport, or a major commercial domestic airport, by the Air Transportation Office, a body of the Department of Transportation and Communications that is responsible for the operations of not only this airport but also of all other airports in the Philippines except the major international airports.
The airport is named after Daniel Z. Romualdez, a former speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives and uncle of former first lady Imelda Marcos.
