[edit] Merge with Gretchen Bonaduce
I oppose the merge. I am the one that broke the double redirect on Danny's page that had a wiki link to Gretchen Bonaduce but it redirected back to Danny. Currently, Gretchen has 3 paragraphs and Danny has 6; There is enough information pertinent to Gretchen having nothing to do with Danny. People are adding information to her page that might not want to add it to Dannys page [1]. This probably would not have been added if the pages were merged (at the time) with Danny's page. --Supercoop 14:44, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
I agree, there's more than enough information on her to have her own. If noone can find any than don't have a page at all, this is about Danny Bonaduce and his life, his wife's life is completing different. Leethal
- Are he and Gretchen divorced? The page lists Jaclyn Bradley as his girlfriend. Also, how is she notable enough to have her own page but not Gretchen Bonaduce?--Twintone 19:40, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Legal troubles
Why does this entry not mention any of Mr. Bonaduce's legal troubles stemming from an assault charge in Phoenix, AZ? There is not any mention of his time as a radio DJ in Phoenix either. This omission of public records appears questionable.
Agreed. Yes, he's a C-lister, but surely his interesting life and many widely-publicized flameouts earn him at least as detailed an article as, say, Paris Hilton. Omitting not just the transvestite-beating incident, but his entire history of legal troubles (which, together with his various other failings -- infidelity, etc. -- have largely defined much of the man's life) to me borders on hagiography. [edit] In the News
why no mention of the whole transvestite hooker thing? Or any mention of his difficult childhood, his struggles with being an 'ex teen star.' There is so much rich information on Danny. He is very outspoken and keeps very few secrets.
Well his autobiography is a source of material for this, but perhaps it is not necessary. He has a very moving and believable account of his descent into drug addiction, and his struggles to escape it (including chaining himself to a hotel bed so he'd be good to go for a morning radio interview). How his wife contributed to his recovery, and his rather amusing story of the transvestite hooker are also recounted in this bio, but does this sort of thing belong in a brief encyclopedia entry about a "C list" television star (his own description of himself)? Maybe, maybe not. Anyone who cares to know more about his life can get his autobiography from the library. CharlesKiddell 19:53, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Better Picture
Can we get a better picture, even if its a different still? It might be good to have him currently and his Partridge Family days photo as well.--Twintone 20:34, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Religeous Beliefs
I removed the part that says Danny is less religeous than his brother John, This is because I am listening (at this moment) to the Glenn Beck program. Glenn is interviewing Danny Bonaduce and His wife Gretchen on the radio. Danny and Gretchen have been talking about involvent in their local chuch and discussions with his pastor. For refrence check the Glenn Beck audio archives at a later time (Subscription required). ---CamperStrike
[edit] Father
- Does anyone know if Danny's father is alive?68.9.170.52 17:59, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Countess and Count
Why do Bonaduce's children have aristocratic titles? I assume it means either he or his wife have a title (which should be reflected in the way either is named in the article - since the wife's name redirects here). 62.136.233.71 13:48, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- From what I can gather from some web searches, those are their actual legal first names, not titles. The article should probably be updated to reflect this - PxT 17:35, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bonaduce's Inimitable Response to a Conspiracy Theorist
From Steve H. Graham of HogOnIce:
I didn't realize until this week that Danny Bonaduce was the finest human being on the planet. I'm not saying that simply because he appeared on Youtube [2], laying the smackdown on a conspiracy moron, with skill very few trial lawyers could equal ...
The sad thing no one mentions about the Youtube incident is that Danny did to his career what 911 conspiracy assheads do to the truth. He didn't do himself any favors by slapping down that tin foil purveying doofus. Oh sure, he got publicity. As a PATRIOT. You think that's going to make him popular in Hollywood? Wrong.
Fox needs to offer this guy a radio show NOW. He stood up for the US, and he's going to suffer for it unless someone outside the establishment steps in and helps. Give him a show, Fox. -[3] Steve H. Graham, HogOnIce
