Daria Nicolodi

Daria Nicolodi (born on 19 June 1950) is an Italian actress and screenwriter.

She was the long term partner of Italian director Dario Argento (they were never married), and is the mother of actress / director Asia Argento.

Daia Nicolodi has starred in several of Dario Argento's films including Deep Red, Tenebrae and Opera and co-wrote Argento's Suspiria.
Nicolodi also worked with directors Mario Bava, Lamberto Bava, Luigi Cozzi, Michele Soavi, and Asia Argento.
Nicolodi continues to act and is expected to appear in Dario Argento's upcoming The Third Mother, the third film in a trilogy which began with Suspiria.
