Darintake
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The term Darintake refers to a modification common to B5 (2000-2002) Audi S4 automobiles, where a portion of the bottom of the airbox is cut out to allow cooler air to flow more freely into the intake. This is done as an inexpensive alternative to the purchase of an aftermarket air intake. The Darintake mod is said to have the same effect, if not better.
