Darkseed is a German gothic metal band, founded in 1992. Lead vocalist Stefan Hertrich left the band in 2003, only to return in 2004 to make "Ultimate Darkness", which was released in 2005. In 2006, he and Martin Motnik left the band again, thus effectively leaving the other members with the only one decision - to disband Darkseed.
