Darya khan

Darya Khan is a town in Pakistan, in the Punjab province. This town was actually established by Mr. Rizwan Tahir and his family in 1800. Latter in 1861 they migrated to India and gifted the land to their tenant Mr. Mumtaz Feroze and Mr. Iftikhar Feroze, two brothers. Who are now claiming that they are the Sardars of Darya Khan and establish this town.
The town was established in 1861 by Mumtaz Feroze and Iftikhar Feroze, local sardars of Dera IsmailKhan. They bought land from their cousin Khan Darya Khan for agricultural use, after acquiring land they persuaded people to settle in their newly established Town and provided free land to new inhabitants. The town soon became known as Darya Khan. Both Khans survived a long time after esatablishing their town and the family still live there.
