Please do not add questions to the articles like you did to Manhattan. And to answer your question, there is no statement in the article saying that Manhattan is the largest county in the city.
"The Island of Manhattan is the largest section of the borough (and county), which also includes numerous smaller islands and a small section of the North American mainland." is a sentence explaining that New York County consists of the island of Manhattan and several smaller islands and a part of the mainland.
Next time you need a question answered, please post it on the Talk page instead.
