Boozhoo I am a member of the Anishinabek Three Fires Nation, I have been an avid reader of Wikipedia for the last few months, My specific interests in joining the Wikipedia community is to help with the Indigenous Peoples/Nations project being constructed here. Having read most of the articles related and/or about the Indigenous Peoples/Nations here i have found them to sorely lacking in accurate information regarding the histories, cultures/languages, lifestyle, spiritual beliefs, and current events, this is not to demean any contributor(s) in regards to this project, quite the contrary i find it refreshing that there are others who are willing to expand their knowledge about my nation (Anishinaabek Three Fires Confederacy) :D. Most of the "sources" used to substantiate "facts" are written by people who have no or little knowledge of the peoples about which they write, they write this information from the colonizer's viewpoint, which is of course biased (sometimes intentional, sometimes not) I hope to bring to this project the knowledge from our perspective, so that at the very least to provide a balanced view on the original inhabitants of Turtle Island.
