David Scott Berg (born September 3, 1970 in Roseville, California) is a Jewish Major League Baseball player. Originally selected by the Marlins in the 38th round of the 1993 Draft, Berg is currently in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He bats and throws right-handed.
A versatile utility-man in the purest sense, Berg is an adequate defensive player in all infield positions who, in the past has played left field and right, although not well. He has played all or part of seven major league seasons with the Florida Marlins (1998-2001), Toronto Blue Jays (2002-04), and Boston Red Sox (2005).
