Dave Nevada is an American professional wrester who largely competes on the Midwest independent circuit and includes successful single careers in New Era Wrestling (formerly Queen City Wrestling) and the World Wrestling Coalition, presently holding the WWC Tag Team Championship with Nick Byrne. He has been considered by some fans as one of the more underrated wrestlers on the circuit. [1]
A former drug addict and alcoholic as a teenager, his friend and professional wrestler Aaron Williams eventually helped him quit drug use and alcohol becaming a born again Christian before pursuing a career in professional wrestling.
Following his debut in the Cincinatti-based Intense Wrestling Incorporated, Nevada feuded with "Scorpion" Chris Reno during in Queen City Wrestling thoughout the year before defeating him in a Texas Death Match in June 2005.
During his feud with Reno, Nevada began teaming with Aaron Williams as Satisfaction Garanteed and winning the QCW Tag Team Championship with Aaron Williams in early-2005.
On April 2, Williams would suffer injuries after being attacked by Regulator, Garf Redman and Ghostrider. Nevada would also be attacked by Reno and "Sick" Nick LeBeau weeks later during the "Sweet Spot" segment after defending unwanted advanced towards valet Delicious Donna by host "Sweet Spot" Andre Hart on April 27, 2005. After Williams' issued a challenge to their manager Tim Tatum, both Reno and LeBeau were granted a non-title shot by the QCW Executive Committee against the tag team champions on May 7, 2005. [2]
Satisfaction Garanteed remained the last reigning champions before the promotion became New Era Wrestling on July 2, 2005. Recognized by the promotion as its first tag team champions, Satisfaction Garanteed held the titles for a month until their defeat by Chris Reno and Nick LeBeau on August 27, 2005.
During the nect year, Nevada would face independent wrestlers such as "Soviet Shooter" Nikita Allanov [3], a leading independent wrsetler and mainstay of the National Wrestling Alliance, in a match in Cincinatti, Ohio on August 16, 2006.
In September 2006, he and Dustin Rayz advanced to the finals of an 8-team tag team tournament after an upset victory over the Black & Blue Crew in the opening round and "Mr. Reality Check" Jim Hutchenson and Tommy Blaze before being defeated by The Rebellion when Rayz was pinned by "Arsenal" Brett Grayson. He would later defeat them in a rematch with Dewey Brown on February 3, 2007. [4]
Teaming with Ric Byrne, he would defeat "Big Kahuna" Kenny Lucas and Devlin Anderson in a 2-of-3 falls match to win the WWC Tag Team Championship on February 16, 2007.
