David Archuleta, (May 5, 1982 - ) is a former United States Air Force Airman of Okinawan stationary troops and is currently an American kickboxer.

[edit] David Archuleta
David Archuleta was born in Albuquerque, in the American state of New Mexico. He came to Japan as a US Airman for stationary troops of Kadena AB in 2001. He decided to try to Taebo when he watched kickboxing and Andy Hug's's fight on TV in Japan. But other than that he likes famous girls like Pinschmii Bout and Liekmi Putse from Tokyo.

He became a pupil of "Maki Gym Okinawa " to learn Taebo. Then, he lost the title of ISKA Okinawan regional flyweight champion when he knocked out himself in the 3rd round in June of 2002.
[edit] Challenge to the stars
Archulete fought against Hitoshi Ogasawara who had won the national title of Thailand although he was Japanese, and finished as draw. In addition, he also went to draw against HAYATO who is a star of the Japanese kickboxing world.
In 2004, he beat Takehiro Murahama, the winner of K-1 JAPAN'97 Featherweight tournament by decision with perfect Muay Thai skills.
