David Maradona Armstrong (born 23 January 1987, in Lisburn) is a Northern Irish professional footballer who currently plays for Cowdenbeath on loan from Heart of Midlothian.
Armstrong is a Northern Irish Under-19 international whose versatility has resulted in him being deployed as both a central defender and striker. He has yet to make a first team appearance for Hearts and spent the 2005-06 season on loan to Northern Irish side Crusaders.
His unusual middle name is a tribute to Argentinian footballing legend Diego Maradona. [1]
