David Benck

David M. Benck, or David Benck is an Alabama based lawyer and legal author. He graduated from Birmingham-Southern College (BA Economics 1990) and The University of Alabama School of Law (JD 1993). Mr. Benck is the General Counsel for Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc. (“Hibbett”) which is a publicly traded, full line sporting goods retailer headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama with over 600 locations in approximately 23 states. In addition, Mr. Benck is listed on the American Arbitration Association National Roster of Neutrals.
Previously, he was the Vice President & General Counsel for Momentum Telecom, Inc. In that capacity, he regularly appeared before each southeastern state's respective Public Service Commission and the Federal Communications Commission.
Mr. Benck has been published by numerous national publications including The Society for Human Resource Management and The Association of Corporate Counsel The Docket, HostingTech, the Web Hosting Industry Review, The Computer Law Associates Bulletin, and Gigalaw.com.
