David Watson is an American anarchist author and a primary contributor to the anti-authoritarian magazine Fifth Estate, published in Liberty, Tennessee and in Detroit, Michigan.
Watson's philosophy is a mixture of green anarchism and communitarian anarchism and is highly influenced by American Indian mysticism and also surrealism.

Watson is also the advisor of the Crane-Clarion, Cranbrook's school newspaper, which has won several Columbia Gold Medals under his advisory.
