Davie Tough

Davie Tough (April 26, 1907-December 9, 1948) was an American jazz/swing drummer in the 1930s and 1940s.
He spent time with the big bands of Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Bunny Berigan, Artie Shaw, and Woody Herman. Tough died at age 41, plagued by alcohol abuse and ill health.
