The first experiment with Radar was carried out there, and the BBC World Service used to be broadcast from there, how about that?. Daventry's a pleasant enough town but "Daventry" and "exciting" are unfortunately not two words that are often found together in a sentence. G-Man 22:37, 5 August 2005 (UTC)

Just returned from there. The Country Park IS quite nice, but I second you on the "exciting" part. Found a nice pub though so I saved some money on the expensive hotel food... --Pmkpmk 21:40, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
