David Donald is a political scientist at Glasgow Caledonian University. He has a long-term interest in Britain between the wars and, in particular, left-wing institutions, ideologies and activities in that period. He has a special collection in the Caledonian University library.[1]. His more contemporary interests centre on the political economy of economic performance in the developed world and particularly in post-industrial societies.
His is currently employed in Learning Services at Glasgow Caledonian as coordinator of Spoken Word Services and set of related projects. The most significant of these The Spoken Word[2] (JISC/NSF) brings catalogued materials from the BBC Archives to the browser for educational use only.
