Dayglo Pirates

The Dayglo Pirates are a UK-based Jethro Tull tribute band. Formed in 1996, they have played to fans' conventions in Italy and Germany as well as many gigs in the UK, from Poole to Liverpool.

The current members of The Dayglo Pirates are:
- Paul Forrest - lead vocal, flute, acoustic guitar, mandolin
- Simon Taylor - electric guitar, recorder, backing vocals
- Steve Harrison - bass guitar
- Tom Andrews - drums, glockenspiel, backing vocals
- Graham Burgess - keyboards, backing vocals
They have had just one change in personnel, the original keyboard player Dave Bott leaving for personal reasons in 2005.

The Dayglo Pirates have been joined on stage on occasion by several former members of Jethro Tull, namely Glenn Cornick (bassist This Was to Living in the Past) on 13/11/04 in Hove, Clive Bunker (drummer This Was to Aqualung) and Barriemore Barlow (drummer Thick as a Brick to Stormwatch) at the Italian Tull convention in Sept 2003, and Dee Palmer (keyboards Songs from the Wood to Stormwatch) on 13/03/04, also in Hove.

The name of the band, The Dayglo Pirates, is taken from the lyrics to the song Up To Me on the album Aqualung:
