De La Hunt Broadcasting in Park Rapids, Minnesota, is owned by Ed and Carol De La Hunt. The headquarters and studios are located on the east side of Park Rapids, Minnesota, near Highways 4 & 34. They have never bought an existing station, but actually built them all from the ground up.
In 2006, Ed and Carol De La Hunt were inducted into the Pavek Museum of Broadcasting Hall of Fame.[1]
Their Park Rapids properties include KPRM (classic country 870), KDKK (easy listening 97.5), and KXKK (country music 92.5). They also own KAKK (1570) and KQKK (101.9) in Walker, Minnesota, and KVKK (1070) Verndale, Minnesota.
