De Pardieu Brocas Maffei
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
De Pardieu Brocas Maffei is a French business law firm founded in 1993 by Charles-Henri de Pardieu, Thierry Brocas and Antoine Maffei. It is based in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
As of 2006, De Pardieu Brocas Maffei employs 80 lawyers (including 17 partners)
As the vast majority of law firms in France, De Pardieu Brocas Maffei does not hire its lawyers as employees on the payroll, but as sub-contractors. Each new recruit creates his/her own law firm and the firm becomes his/her primary client. The advantage for recruits is that they are able to have other clients ("clientèle personnelle") to earn extra cash (and render vital legal services to the community).
