Decomposed Subsonic

Decomposed Subsonic, is the alter-ego of Hartmut Wessling. He performs minimal house that uses a lot of static and found noises to create a variety of different sounds. While some are very ambient soundscapes with little to no percussion, a number of them are very dance-floor oriented, with vocals, acid baselines and hard, innovative rhythms. The first album, Blaue Löwen, represents a more ambient, sampled sound, while the second LP, Gradients is more accessible, with more vocals, more hooks and less experimentation.
