I don't recall the second defiant having a cloaking device. If it was not explicitly mentioned or used in the show then its much more likely the ship did not have one.

There wasn't a battle for sector 001 the battle ocured at Wolf 359. I don't think it was the the defaint either as that was before it was built.

The Battle of Sector 001 took place in Star Trek: First Contact. The Defiant was commanded by Worf, and the Enterprise-E rescued its crew after it was severely damaged. • WarpFlyght (talk) 05:00, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

this should not be merged with USS Defiant - there are pages for each class, this is not the page for the ship, for the class.

Agreed. Obviously, whomever came up with the idea of merging, has no idea how the Starship/Starship Class pages are organized. TEG 18:05, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Do not Merge - The class of starship type should be separate from pages about the ships. If the merger was done it would screw up the formation of the Starship class pages. Sawblade05 09:23, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
