On the soap opera General Hospital, Woods is the step-father of Sonny Corinthos and Ric Lansing. He is the step-grandfather of Michael Corinthos III and Kristina Davis and Morgan Corinthos and Molly Lansing. When Sonny was younger, Deke would put him in a closet causing him to develop claustrophobia. He was murdered by Joe Scully from a shot to the head in a warehouse. Scully developed a friendship with Sonny, and liked the idea of having him "own" him, eventually become a father figure. Scully was also murdered by Sonny when he threatened his biological father, Mike Corbin.
