Deli Choices
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Deli Choices is a line of sandwich rolls containing different fillings. The rolls were released by McDonald's in Australia and New Zealand on October 2004. Their success prompted Hungry Jack's and Red Rooster to create sandwich rolls similar to the Deli Choices.
Each roll is prepared to order. The bread is toasted (toaster conveyor belt, similar to a pizza oven) prior to being prepared. Meat and cheese fillings are heated in several seconds using a quick-steamer (similar to the device used to steam buns for the McChicken and Filet-O-Fish). The Bacon & Egg roll is part of the breakfast menu and is only available before 10.30am (11am in South Australia).
