Talk:Deletion log
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
My feeling is that this should be a 'hard' redirect, not a soft one.
I keep typing in "deletion log" into the search and having to go here, then click on again.
I cant see any reason for it not to be a hard redirect, so i will change it unless any objections? Thedreamdied 15:28, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- I tried this in the past, it didn't function. See history for the edit of 21:37, April 18, 2006. I'm not sure why it didn't function, it may be because the deletion log is in the "Special" namespace, but I'm not sure. Accurizer 16:35, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] CSD G4
Per Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2006 December 26#Deletion log → Wikipedia:Deletion log, this was deleted by Cyde at 02:57, 27 December 2006 UTC.[1] It was recreated by Ned Scott at 11:38, 27 December 2006 UTC.[2] Hence, I'm tagging this with {{db-g4}} as recreation of deleted content. Note that even though the RfD wasn't closed until 06:40, 27 December 2006 UTC by JLaTondre, the RfD was still closed for over three hours before the redirect's recreation. Note to the admin closing the CSD nomination: Even if you delete the page as G4, please do not delete the talk page. It is helpful to have these comments exist if this issue comes up again. BigNate37(T) 21:21, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have deleted the content as a CSD G4, basing on the results of the RfD. I'm leaving the talk page, per requests. Canadian-Bacon 01:35, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

- Oh geez, I'm sorry guys, I don't know what got into me. This is totally the least important thing to get in a tiff about. I really need to get out more often :D -- Ned Scott 06:17, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
