[edit] Jackson
Do you have a reliable source for Samuel L. Jackson's height? (IMDB isn't) Mad Jack 20:13, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Brad Pitt. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. --Yamla 20:39, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
You said: "As I see it you are adding the nonsense. I'm using reliable sources when I'm adding a height, and mr Pitt has self told to be 5 ft 11 which is what I'm going to re add on his profile."
- Please read WP:CITE and WP:RS, along with WP:V, to learn how to cite this sort of information. Thanks. --21:29, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Please do not add or change any more heights without providing a reliable citation for your information. Thanks. --Yamla 21:37, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
You have been blocked for 24 hours. You are welcome to resume editing once the block expires, but please do not introduce disputed information without providing a source, as you have been told over and over again. --Yamla 21:55, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Two of the sources you used to cite Brad Pitt's height appeared to be fansites. Once again, please read WP:RS. Fansites are not reliable. However, the third citation seems more likely to be reliable. While I wouldn't gamble even five dollars on them being right, it's a good enough source to give it the benefit of the doubt. So I removed the two definitely unreliable sources from that article and let that one stand. Thanks, Del-Mar. --Yamla 16:07, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
