Denisa Ščerbová [ˈdɛnɪsa ˈʃʧɛrbɔva:] (born August 21, 1986 in Karviná) is a Czech athlete. Her main event is the long jump, but she competes also in heptathlon. Ščerbová's best are 6.68 m in long jump (achieved in July 2004 in Grosseto) and 5,828 points in heptathlon (achieved in July 2006 in Tábor). Since 2001 Denisa Ščerbová is a member of AK SSK Vítkovice, an athletic club from Ostrava, her coach is Aleš Duda.
Denisa Ščerbová took the silver medal in long jump at 2003 U17 World Championships in Sherbrooke and won the gold medal in long jump at 2004 World Junior Championships in Grosseto. She came 25th in long jump at 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Ščerbová also competed in heptathlon at 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg, but had to give up because of an ankle injury.
At 2007 European Indoor Championships in Birmingham Ščerbová matched up to her Czech indoor record 6.64 m and came third, beating Bianca Kappler by one centimetre and winning her first major senior medal.
As of March 2007 Denisa Ščerbová is also several times champion of the Czech Republic (one outdoor and three indoor titles.in long jump and one title in heptathlon).
Ščerbová's life partner is another Czech athlete Jaroslav Bába.
