Denise Idris Jones

Denise Idris Jones (born 1950) is a Labour member of the National Assembly for Wales for the Conwy Assembly constituency. She is a native of Rhosllanerchrugog, near Wrexham and speaks Welsh. As a student in Liverpool, she worked for Harold Wilson’s campaign. She taught English and French at Grango School, Rhos, for around 30 years. She was elected to the Assembly in May 2003.
