Dennis Brockenborough

Dennis Brockenborough was a trombone player for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones for ten years and an important contributor to that's band's brass instrument-driven skacore sound.
Brockenborough, an African-American musician from Delaware, was added to the Bosstones in 1990 just before the EP Where'd You Go? and the band's second album More Noise and Other Disturbances. Brockenborough replaced original trombone player Tim Bridewell. He had, however, made a prior cameo appearance on the "Devil's Night Out" music video. Brockenboroughs mother was and may still be a music teacher
While with the Bosstones, Brockenborough played a Yamaha YSL-691 trombone with a Dennis Wick 4C mouthpiece. Brockenborough also sang backup on songs such as "Lights out" and "Simmer Down."
"Pay Attention" was his last album with the band. Around April 2000, Brockenborough left the Bosstones to play with a band he formed named "Chubby" with whom he sings lead and plays guitar. Brockenborough's replacement was former Spring Heeled Jack U.S.A. member Chris Rhodes.
Chubby released it's debut album Is It Time? in 2004.
