Dennis Wendell Shaw (born March 3, 1947 in Los Angeles, California) is a former American football quarterback. He was a star collegiate football player for the San Diego State University Aztecs, then played four seasons for the Buffalo Bills and two for the St. Louis Cardinals. Shaw was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press in 1970 and is one of only three quarterbacks (along with Ben Roethlisberger and Vince Young) to win the award.
