Department of Education (Victoria)

The Department of Education (DoE) (formerly Department of Education & Training) provides the policy and planning advice for the delivery of education and training across the state of Victoria in Australia.
The department supports and advises the Minister for Education, John Lenders, and the Minister for Education Services, Jacinta Allan and helps with the management and administration of their portfolios.
- There is also a Department of Education and Training in each of New South Wales (DET), the Australian Capital Territory, in Western Australia and in Tasmania - note that these are separate Departments.
- In South Australia, the equivalent is the Department of Education and Children's Services.
- In the Northern Territory, the equivalent is the Department of Employment, Education and Training.
