Des Hamilton

Derrick Hamilton, better known as Des (born 15 August 1976 in Bradford, West Yorkshire) was an English professional football player.
Hamilton came through the youth ranks at Bradford City as a promising youngster and was then taken to Newcastle United for £1,375,000 by Kenny Dalglish. He moved to Cardiff City at the end of the 2000-01 season after a disappointing spell at Newcastle which saw him loaned out to Sheffield United, Huddersfield Town and Norwich City. From there his footballing career went steadily downhill and he had disappointing spells at Grimsby Town FC and Barnet FC.
