Design Science License
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Design Science License (DSL) is a copyleft license for free content such as text, images, and music. The DSL was written by Michael Stutz. The DSL is incompatible with the GFDL and the Free Software Foundation explicitly disrecommend the DSL for documentation for this reason.
The original website for the DSL was Michael Stutz's site. However, the site no longer has a copy of the DSL on it. The Free Software Foundation has a copy of the DSL at http://www.gnu.org/licenses/dsl.html.
According to this OpenCores.org item-by-item review, the Design Science License is suggested to be optimal for copylefting scientific research data.
