[edit] Conforming to a higher standard of quality...
Uh, there's an emoticon on the tail end of the last sentence of the first paragraph about Asato Tsuzuki. Not my fandom by any means, but I didn't think Wikipedia allowed emoticons. Mythicaldog 10:42, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Missing Episode
In the Comcast On-Demand airing of this show, they skipped Sword of the King Part III. Did it pass the border into Yaoi Land? What is so bad that they skipped it?
[edit] Ugh!
First of all, it's "King of Swords: Part III", and the only(maybe not only -_-) person that's yaoi is Muraki. Seriously, Yami no mastuei is not "Yaoi Land"!!! A lot of people will attempt to hurt you if you say something like that. I should know, a lot of people love this show and/or manga.
The last manga volume totally had a yaoi scene in it. Too bad they were both unimportant 1-shot characters.... Muraki is the least yaoi chara; only wants Tsuzuki's body so he can restore his brother so he can kill him again & again (plus he already has a girlfriend). The romance star (with Tsuzuki dead center) includes Hisoka, Tatsumi, & the count. Watari accidently blurted out that he he was gay to a girl when they were talking about hair. Tatsumi could easily steal Tsuzuki for himself if he ever gets over his blame-game issues & low self esteem. In fact before the haitus, a group of fans were discussing how Tatsumi & Hisoka could become rivals while Tsuzuki remained oblivious.
[edit] RE: Ugh!
I have no idea what you're talking about with Watari saying he's gay. The only moment I can think of where this might have happened is in the GenSouKai arc in the middle of volume 9 when Wakaba-chan and Watari are talking about the weather's effects on their hair, as you mentioned the hair. What he blurts out is "you straights don't understand hair", basically. Viz's translation, at least. Theria.net translates it as "You straight-haired people don't know our pain".
Considering the context, Watari is definitely talking about hair, not sexual orientation. If he had been saying he was gay then obviously there would have been a much larger uproar within the series and by fandom.
[edit] When will Yoko Matsushita continue YnM???
Does anyone know exactly when YnM will continue? More than half of 2006 has passed... Has Hakusensha released any information regarding this?
It's nearly March of 2007. Only by sending snail mail inquiries to Viz & or Hakusensha, or the sudden appearence of a Matsushida homepage (unlikely given that she has only 1 manga series & hasn't written in years) will we find out.
[edit] YnM
Well...they published volume 11 in May 2006...I've been noticing that they tend to publish each volume every two months...(yes...I am obsessed with Descendants of Darkness) Sooo...that means they should publish volume 12 soon now...THEY BETTER!
[edit] Not enough Info!
This page doesn't have enough on the manga. It doesn't mention that the manga was abandoned after volume 11 & that the mangaka never made another manga. Don't hold your breath for volume 12; much like Legal Drug, Ibu no Musukotachi, & Under the Glass Moon, this series is cancled. Volume 11 was published in Japan back in 2001.
I did hear however that Matsushida was supposed to have started volume 12 late this year, possibly pressure from her original Japanese publishers from American publishers.
[edit] Sources
Do you have a source? Because you can't really add anything to Wikipedia without being able to cite your references (its not forbidden, just discouraged) And besides, I really hope its not canceled - it was such a great manga/anime...
P.S. - This is my first time on a discussion page, sorry if I mess up in some way...
