Dharmpal Singh Dudee

Chaudhary Dharmpal Singh Dudee (Devanagari:चौधरी धर्मपाल सिंह डूडी) is a journalist, social worker and author. He was born on 18 December 1940 at village Ghasola in Bhiwani district of Haryana in India. His father was Chaudhary Chandagi Ram Dudee, who belonged to Dudi gotra Hindu Jat, basically an army family. His Grandfathers Hav. Harnarayan Singh & Ranjit Singh died in France 1914 during World War I serving in 1 BN Royal Jat Regiment. His Nana Ji Hav. HemRaj was also in Royal Jat Regt. His mother was Sarati Devi, a religious woman.

After completing his education in Haryana, he was appointed a teacher of Science and Maths and served in that capacity from 1964 to 1967. He came to England in 1967, settled in London, and completed his diploma in Quality Control Engineering and also Diploma in Journalism. He served as Inspector in British Air Space Company.

His family includes his wife Mrs. Rajwanti Devi and two sons DR.Jitendra Singh and Satendra Singh setteled in USA. Owner Director Medical vision groups Lexington KY .

He founded Haryana Jat Sabha in London and is serving as secretary general of the organization. He invites religious and social persons of eminence from various fields and arranges their programmes to spread the spirit of Indian culture in England. He is life member of number of institutes relating to India and England and is doing Social service. He is doing journalism. He has worked in ‘Old is gold’ English theater in 1994 along with Nitish Bhardwaj of Mahabharata serial fame. His priority is the welfare and upliftment of poor & Ex-servicemen families.

He is founder President of Shaheed Dham Trust, Bhiwani Haryana, India. This trust is helping in research & publishing history books.

• 1964 -1967, Rural school teacher: Kalyana High school, Haryana, India. Worked amongst rural farmers and Harijan, Untouchable people for their upliftment and education for poor labourers.

• Came to the UK and joined the Indian Worker’s association in Southall, London and worked towards better race relations for migrant workers in the UK.

• Organised a multiracial play - "Britain 2000" in Ealing and Southall, London during racial riots in London during 1977-78.
• Organised a Peace conference in Westminster Hall, London of leaders of all races & religions. Invited and attended by Rajmohan Gandhi grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.
• Attended moral-rearmament International conference in New Delhi India.

• Tribute to Indian Martyrs - Visited Neuve-chapelle Indian memorial in France with family in August 1978 and paid tribute to First World War martyrs including 2 Grandfathers. Invited by royal British Legion Patcham Branch for annual CHATTRI PILGRIMAGE TO INDIAN ARMY MARTYRS in Brighton, UK.

• Invited by Prime minister of India Morarji Desai on 24 March 1978 for private conference.

• Worked for Prime minister of India Relief’s fund during Maharastra, Gujarat Earthquake and Tsunami disaster.

• Invited and welcomed rural youth from MD university Rohtak, India, to London on round the world mission for peace on motorbike in 1986

• Regularly worked for international friendship society UK-Ealing West London Branch for many years.

• Founder and President of Haryana association London UK.

• Invited and welcomed many scholars to London and organized Havans, Prayers for peace and friendship including; President of world Arya Samaj, Swami Omanand Sarswati, Gurukul Jhajjar, Swami Indervesh Ex-MP. Swami Agnivesh vadhwa mukti morcha. MahaRaj TaraChand Ji, Maharaj Kawar Singh Dinod Ashram Bhiwani Haryana, Ex VC, Prof Sher Singh, Dr Bhim Singh Dahiya, Brig, O.P. Chaudhry.

• Organised Kargil Martyrs Day, Vijay Divas, 15 August and 26 January, Shaheed day all over the world such as London, Chicago IL, Lexington KY. Bhiwani, Roorkee, Baraeli, Gurgaon, Delhi, Pilani, Rohtak, Hisar, Bhadra, Dadri, Chirawa, Jhunjhunu, Jhajjar and other army places and training centers.

• Presented France to Kargil- Shaheed Goravgatha, The history of Indian army books to Indian martyrs & war-widows in India. Visited many Indian army units and presented books to Chief of Army staff for army units and soldiers board in many districts of India.

• This year another of his books commemorating the occasion and anniversary of 150 yrs of 1857 war of independence of India: “HISTORY OF INDIA SARAVKHAP MARTYRS & FREEDOM FIGHTERS”. Will be presented to every Martyr s & freedom fighters family all over the world.
