Diana Starkova

Diana Starkova is an international supermodel from Kiev, Ukraine, who has worked in 35 countries worldwide.

She has worked with Versace Sport, Manolo Blahnik, Kettler, Chopard, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Beauty Palace Institute in Abu Dhabi, among others. Starkova is a former Miss Bikini of the Universe. International press says that Diana Starkova became famous in modelling industry because of her very similar look with Paris Hilton.

Starkova's modelling career began at the age of 13, when she participated in John Casablancas’ international model search “Elite Model Look”. Since then, Starkova has advanced her modelling career by participating in and winning ever-larger modelling competitions on a local, national and international level. In five years, she travelled to 35 countries on modelling assignments. The bulk of her modelling projects, however, have come from Paris, New York, Shanghai, Moscow and her hometown of Kiev.

Starkova won her first beauty contest in 1998, when she was crowned the winner of a pageant in her local city in the Ukraine. Two years later, in 2000, she was crowned the winner of a national competition. In 2002, she earned the prestigious title “Best Model of Ukraine 2002,” and in that same year she was given the distinct honour of representing her country in international contests. In 2003, Starkova entered into the international beauty pageant “Miss Bikini of the Universe” and won the lucrative first place prize, which ultimately led to her signing a very profitable modelling contract.

One year later, in 2004, she became the "face" of one of the most luxurious beauty salons in the world^[specify] in the United Arab Emirates, where she was prominently displayed on 3000 billboards under the city lights of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. She received the coveted award for “Best Supermodel of UAE 2004-2005", and as a result, the Dubai-based luxury watch, jewellery and accessory company "Chopard" picked Starkova as their face in the United Arab Emirates for some advertising.

Starkova's personal goal is to become the very first Ukrainian-born Miss World. She also has a growing fascination with sea vessels and shipping; when asked about her future goals and aspirations after her successful modelling career she replied, “In the future I hope to own my own shipping company.”
