Diane Patrick

Diane Patrick (formerly Diane Bemus) is the First Lady of Massachusetts and the wife of Gov. Deval Patrick. Born in 1951, Patrick is a lawyer who specializes in labor and employment law. She holds a BA from Queens College and a JD from Loyola Law School. Patrick served as a University Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at Harvard University, as Harvard's Director/Associate Vice President for Human Resources. She is currently a partner at the Boston law firm Ropes and Gray. She married Deval Patrick in 1984 and the couple has lived in Milton, Massachusetts since 1989 with their two daughters, Sarah and Katherine.
