Diatrymon is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise, a Champion Ancient Bird Digimon with powerful leg strength. An extremely ferocious bird, he attacks any moving thing he considers to be an enemy. He is named after Diatryma which is one of the extinct flightless birds.

Though its wings do not have enough strength to achieve flight, Diatrymon can sprint with a velocity that can exceed a speed of 200 kilometers per hour. The plumage on his body is metallic, making Diatrymon almost impossible to injure.
